Transport: Streamable HTTP.
Authentication: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, using a registered OAuth client. Postard does not currently support dynamic client registration.

1. Check this client's current MCP setup requirements. Ask for the registered OAuth client ID if missing. Do not request passwords, client secrets, service-role keys, or access tokens in chat.
2. If registration is missing, explain what the Postard operator must configure before continuing. Do not bypass OAuth or suggest a static bearer token.
3. If you can edit my client's configuration, show the smallest change and ask before applying it. Preserve other MCP connections. Otherwise give the exact manual setup steps for Claude.
4. Let me complete sign-in and workspace consent in the browser. Start with read-only access; saving drafts needs a separate grant and an editing role.
5. Once authenticated, call get_workspaces to verify the connection. Ask which returned workspace I want to use, then read its drafts with get_drafts.
6. Do not save or modify content until I explicitly ask. Postard currently has no publishing or scheduling MCP tools. Never claim connection or setup succeeded without a successful tool response.

A few good questions.

What can I use today?

Use the free content planner, organize drafts, compose image posts, and plan your calendar. Live social delivery needs integration setup. MCP adds five tools after OAuth setup and paid activation. The mobile app is coming later.

How does the AI integration work?

Postard connects to compatible AI clients through MCP. You choose the workspaces they can see and separately allow saving drafts. You can revoke access in Settings. Read the MCP guide.

Can I get an API key?

Key management, scopes, and revocation are built. At paid launch, Solo includes one key, Creator five, and Agency unlimited. Keys require an active plan or trial; billing activation is still pending. See authentication and API keys.

Which social integrations are coming first?

Instagram and Threads are first. Connection and selected-metric adapters are built; live access still needs provider setup and approval. Publishing is a later step.

How much will Postard cost?

Launch plans start at $9/month for Solo, with Creator at $21.99/month and Agency at $199/month. Solo and Creator also have yearly options. Agency is monthly only. Billing is not active; creating a workspace does not charge you. Compare launch plans.

Will there be a free trial?

At paid launch, Solo will have a 7-day trial with a card required. Your chosen billing amount will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. For now, the early workspace has no billing and does not collect your card.

Does paying for longer cost less?

Yes. Solo and Creator save 10% when paid upfront for 6 months, or 25% for a year. The discount covers that billing period. After paid access ends, returning customers choose from the prices then available. Agency stays monthly only.
